When the Moody Blues recorded "Floating" from "Every Good Boy Deserves Favour," Mike Pinder used this Vibes sound and his trusty (and well used) pitch control. Pitch bended Vibes in 1972? it's bell-like quality really shows the flavor of the Mellotron playback mechanism.
